Christos Yerolatsitis

Christos Yerolatsitis Trio is led by Cypriot pianist and composer Christos Yerolatsitis, featuring Greek double bassist Grigoris Theodoridis and Hungarian drummer Attila Gyárfás. The trio first met in 2010 in The Netherlands, where they developed their musical bond. After years apart, they’ve reunited to create their debut album Daydreaming, set to release on March 14, 2025 via PKmusik.

The trio often creates an unconventional dynamic, with the drummer exploring an expansive range of sounds and the bassist supporting the music with improvised lines. Their interplay produces an unexpected sound, steering away from traditional roles.

Tree of Dawn

Tree of Dawn was founded by the Latvian singer Ronja Burve and the Cypriot pianist Christos Yerolatsitis in 2015 as an experimental jazz duo while searching for new musical possibilities for voice and piano. In time a set of fresh compositions was created that were all independent, short stories, suggesting film music. The project’s debut album “Journey” was released in 2016.

In 2018 the Tree of Dawn gained a more electronic sound as it started using synthesizers and was joined by guitarist Antreas Yerolatsitis.

The concept of Tree of Dawn’s new work is exploring different atmospheres and soundscapes by using sounds from the world of electronic music combined with jazz elements, such as improvisation and harmony. Fully inspired by analog modular synthesizers, Tree of Dawn is using them live on stage as an extension of their main instruments (vocals, piano and guitar), seeking for bridges between Jazz and Electronic music. Synthy drum sounds, conceptual melodies, pop forms and jazz inspired improvisations are expected to be present in their show.

The band’s second album “Electric Tree”  was released on July 31, 2020. It is available now in a digital format as well as with an optional Limited Edition print package with original artwork by Johnny Avraamides.

Eef van Breen Group

Eef van Breen is well known as a jazz trumpeter and singer, and as a composer of music for theatre and film and the repertoire of is own group: the Eef van Breen Group. He draws inspiration for his work from classical music and other art forms, such as film, dance, poetry and theatre. His music stirs the imagination. The makeup of the group is just as astonishing as its repertoire. It uses various instruments that one would sooner expect in a chamber music ensemble than a jazz group. The group considers it important to continually renew itself, as can be seen from its last projects. With unexpected musical turns and everyday sounds made by the foley artists, the listener experiences images as though in a film.

They performed at jazz venues and classical music festivals and TV/radio shows such as: De Doelen Rotterdam, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, jazzclubs Porgy & Bess Terneuzen, Paradox Tilburg, VPRO’s Vrije Geluiden, Mijke’s Middag (Radio 6), NPS Kunststof Radio, and Neve’ Radio KLARA.. The group made a big theatre tour around the country in 13/14 with Fellini by the North Netherlands Theatre Company.
